We had a lovely stay for 4 nights in a spacious 2-bed apartment with a fab lake view. The cottage was beautifully set up and perfect for our family. Our dogs loved it too! Pro tip, bring a comfy camp chair for evenings. Just wish the kitchen had more cooking stuff – had to pack my own bowl!

The self-catering experience was hampered by inadequate kitchen supplies—items like oven gloves and basic condiments were missing, making meal prep a bit of a hassle. cleanliness issues arose, especially with a sticky kitchen floor and some unwashed crockery that put a damper on things. Another inconvenience was needing to strip the beds before checking out, which isn’t something I'd expect after paying a premium price.

Consider asking for additional kitchen supplies if you're planning to cook. some essentials may be missing.

We had a lovely time staying in the cozy Lady Wakefield cottage with picturesque lake views and enjoyed the spacious layout. The garden area was perfect for morning coffee, and we also relaxed on the sun terrace overlooking the landscape. The only thing we found odd was sharing the cottage with a couple living below us with their dogs. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway! 😊
